2012 Holiday Events in North Dallas and the DFW

This month, drop by one or all of these holiday events returning to the DFW.

The holiday season has almost arrived in Plano, which means that its time for folks across the region to start crafting plans for the season. Luckily, there will be plenty of events, festivals and activities returning to Northern Dallas for those in the hunt for a fun holiday outing. Listed below are just a few events you will find near your apartment in Plano.

One event in Dallas-Fort Worth that will rank right up there with you family is the always popular “Twas the Night Before Christmas” on November 24th at the Casa Mañana Theatre. The kids will fall in love with the dancing elves, Frosty the Snowman and even Santa Claus. You can find this local theater at 3101 West Lancaster Avenue, in Fort Worth, TX.

Another event in Dallas-Fort Worth that will prove enticing is the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s “Home for the Holidays” on November 24th.  Not only will this performance put you in the holiday spirit, you and your family will love joining in family sing-along at Fort Worth’s Bass Hall.

Of course, it would not be the holidays in Dallas-Fort Worth without lots and lots of spectacular glittering festive lights. Young and old alike will want to celebrate Arlington Lights Parade in the University District.  This family favorite for residents will culminate with the annual holiday tree lighting.
